Everyone was surprised by the extent of the building and how the &#8220;Madhouse&#8221; (known locally), i.e. the nightclub on the street side of the building hides the medieval warehousing.  Mark led the group around the ground floor of the building explaining it&#8217;s history.  Unfortunately, due to health and safety purposes, we were unable to go upstairs in the old part of the building. We learnt about some of it&#8217;s very unique brick work and the dig carried out a couple of years ago.
