In October 2023, Janet Patrick was our guest monthly speaker and spoke to us about Skipwith Church. Members suggested our summer outing for 2024 was a visit to Skipwith Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had a very interesting tour of the Church to see for ourselves the interesting features Janet had spoken about previously.  This was followed by scrumptious homemade cakes and scones, and a refreshing cup of tea\/coffee (with ample refills!).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to Janet and her colleagues for their warm hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We then ventured across the road and met-up with Jon Kenny, Community Archaeologist who told us about the latest archaeological dig &#8220;The Skipwith Gateway Project&#8221;.
