You can be excused for thinking we are about to give some Spring advice for your garden – but no – the Osgodby Dig is about to start! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon Kenny our Community Archaeologist will be leading the dig in the village. In September 2021, under Jon’s expert guidance, we undertook some geophysics work in a part of the village that has always been of interest to us. The land, has intrigued us for some time. Now to find out if it has a hidden story?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work will be starting at the beginning of April for an 8 week period, and we are sure local residents will “want to know what’s going on”. Has a building developer moved in? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have invited local residents to join in, and come along and learn a little more about archaeology. We will also be working with colleagues from other local groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
