What a great day we had yesterday at the Osgodby Horticultural Show.
Thank you to everyone who entered, and well done to all those who were placed. Thanks also to visitors who came along in the afternoon to have a browse and cuppa. We also thank all the judges who came along and gave their time, together with thanks to Gwendoline Toner and Abigail Collins for presenting the cups/shields.
We also thank all our sponsors who make this happen and have supported us for many years, this is very much appreciated. Thank you to Alice for hosting the Auction at The Wadkin Arms and raised £260 split equally between Institute Funds and Pensioners Xmas Party.
We hope you enjoyed the two new categories – sending in pictures of your hanging basket (won by Roz Chaplin), and the Caption competition voted by visitors at the Show (won by Rob Lumley-Holmes).
