We will be welcoming Celia Barnes, Hambleton History Research & Archive Association to our May meeting. Celia will be giving an interesting talk on the research of Hambleton Village. She tells us there will be one connection with Osgodby Village!.

We are pleased that at the April monthly meeting Eric Jackson will be visiting us. In November, his talk was all about Guy Fawkes. We asked him if he would come along again and share his talk on The Highway

Roland Chilvers is back by popular request! We are pleased that Roland will be bringing along his photographs of 1947 Selby Floods. Everyone enjoyed the meeting when he came along in January to show Osgodby/Barlby in Days Gone By. So

We are aware that at our speaker meetings, we have little opportunity of chatting with people who ask us questions about how to explore local or their family history. So………. we’ve decided to hold “Explore Local and Family History” sessions
